Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah State Scholarship (BKNS) was accorded for the first time to five students to further their studies abroad.
Sabah Public Service Director-General Datuk Rosmadi Datu Sulai said since the Tuan Yang Terutama Award Scholarship (TYT) was introduced in 1982, previous scholarship recipients only continued their studies within the country.
“Therefore, in line with the Sabah Maju Jaya (SMJ) halatuju, for Human Capital Development to improve the education level of Sabah’s children, BKNS offers full scholarships to excellent students to continue their studies abroad.
