The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) on Saturday submitted a memorandum to Chaudhary Devi Lal University (CDLU) Vice-Chancellor Vijay Kumar in Sirsa, urging the institution to address key student issues and improve campus infrastructure.

Citing concerns about the university’’s Law Department reportedly being shut down, the student organisation demanded that the university let regular LLM classes and other academic activities of the department continue as usual. It also sought widening of the hostel approach road to ensure safer and smoother movement for students.

ABVP further urged the university to repair non-functional water coolers across the campus and install new ones wherever required. The charter also demanded immediate repair and regular maintenance of hostel toilets to ensure proper hygiene.

Additionally, ABVP called for the beautification of the university sports ground and for all essential sports equipment to be made available at the facility.
