AC Milan chief Paolo Maldini has again defended faltering strikers Divock Origi and Charles de Ketelaere.
Maldini was speaking after last night's 4-0 thrashing by Lazio.
He said, "Origi has a 4-year contract, De Ketelaere 5 and we can't judge them from the first few months.
"Origi also arrived injured. It's much easier to join a team that works, which is why Charles' impact wasn't easy either. we wait, we believe in his qualities."
On Roma midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo, Maldini also said: "(Ricky) Massara has already said everything on this subject, we will evaluate the opportunities that will present themselves but we will not deviate from our possibilities."
On their form slump, Maldini also said: "Work has never been lacking, we are present at all training sessions and we can testify to it. Sometimes we lose security and confidence, it can happen."
