AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli insists they can handle the sale of Sandro Tonali to Newcastle United.
The midfielder made the move last week for 80m.
Tonali inked terms with Newcastle before returning to Italy on the weekend.
Pioli said: "It's a big loss from a technical perspective and he must be replaced properly.
"(But) It was a good opportunity for both parties and him, it was difficult to do something different."
