MilanWeb.it reports the Rossonero are weighing up a move for the Sweden captain in January.
Lindelof is inside the final 12 months of his current deal, which carries one-year option.
Milan may make a bid for Lindelf for 15m over the New Year.
Lindelf has scored a total of three goals in 241 games in Manchester United's shirt.
