AC Milan have released a short farewell to Newcastle United signing Sandro Tonali.
Tonali's 80m move to Newcastle was confirmed earlier today.
Milan stated in response: "AC Milan announces that it has definitively sold the registration rights of the player Sandro Tonali to Newcastle United FC.
"The Club thanks the midfielder for the three splendid years lived together and wishes him the best personal and professional satisfaction."
In total, in the three years at the club in via Aldo Rossi, Tonali made 130 appearances, between the league, the Italian Cup, the Italian Super Cup, the Champions League and the Europa League, scoring 7 goals.
