AC Milan striker Olivier Giroud has explained his decision to leave for LAFC.

Giroud will move to MLS at the end of the Serie A season.

He told Canal+: "I have always wanted to end my career there, also from a family point of view, the life experience and the possibility of discovering a distant but still English-speaking country, a help for my children who were born in London."

In Los Angeles will be reunited with Hugo Lloris.

"It's a beautiful thing, he spoke to me about life in LA, the club and the fans, as well as the people who work in the club like John Torrington, the director who came to Milan to see me and have me sign the contract."
