AC Milan vice-president Franco Baresi says they want to make a big impression in the Champions League this season.
Milan will face Chelsea, RB Salzburg and Dinamo Zagreb.
Baresi said: "When you hear the Champions League tune it's always exciting ... We had a splendid year and Milan must present themselves this year aware of our own strength, meeting all the teams with great spirit and great determination.
"We can do well. We must be good at raising the bar, be ambitious; last year we made a good impression.
"Given awareness, this year we must assert ourselves also at an international level. AC Milan is always respected in Europe."
