Heartfelt congratulations to the newly-minted grandparents!

After sparking speculation with a cryptic Instagram post featuring a newborn's leg, Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh has put rumours to rest by confirming that she and her husband are now proud grandparents.

In a subsequent post, she joyfully declared, "Thank you darling Nicolas and Darina for making us the happiest and proudest Grandparents!! Welcome baby Maxime!

The mix-up was evident as fans initially congratulated her on being a new "mum," only to later realize that the baby is her grandchild.

Notably, Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh recently tied the knot with her long-term fiancé Jean Todt less than a month ago in Ipoh.

Making history as the first Asian woman to win the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in the science-fiction comedy "Everything Everywhere All At Once" (2022), she continues to celebrate significant milestones in both her personal and professional life.
