CelcomDigi has rolled out MobileSHIELD, an AI-powered mobile security app built to give users complete control over their digital safety, shielding them from scams, malicious apps, identity leaks, and privacy threats.
Developed in collaboration with F-Secure, it packs multiple layers of protection in a single app, including scam and security protection that blocks fake websites, scam SMS, and unsafe Wi-Fi connections, as well as identity monitoring that alerts users when their personal data is leaked online.
Device protection is done through the detection and blocking of malware or risky apps, plus a privacy VPN that encrypts browsing activity for added safety on public networks.
The app is priced at RM10 per month or RM4 per month with a 12-month contract, and those signing up between 7 August and 18 September 2025 will get a free one-month trial.
