Seven cars on their way to a wedding collided with each other in Bochum west of Dortmund, police said on Sunday.
The vehicles rear-ended each other on Saturday afternoon while driving in a convoy after one of the cars involved braked, according to a police statement. A police spokesman said it was a wedding party convoy.
Three people suffered minor injuries in the accident, with damage estimated at €250,000 ($285,000), police said.
A police spokesman said he assumed the wedding was still able to take place.
