ACEN RES partners with AC Mobility

ACEN Corp. said Monday that its retail arm, ACEN Renewable Energy Solutions (ACEN RES), had partnered with sister company ACMobility to offer integrated and renewable energy and mobility solutions for businesses.

The company said ACEN RES customers, including commercial and industrial establishments, can now install electric vehicle (EV) charging stations within their facilities while sourcing electricity from ACEN's portfolio of renewable energy assets.

The charging stations can be for employee use, corporate EV fleets, or be operated as publicly accessible charging facilities.

ACEN RES customers that choose to open their charging stations to the public will be integrated into ACMobility ecosystem through the Evro app.

The platform will also provide automated billing and payment reconciliation.

“Through this partnership, we are making it easier for businesses to adopt renewable energy and EV charging solutions, helping accelerate decarbonization across both operations and transport,” ACEN President and CEO Eric Francia said.

ACMobility CEO Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala said: “Together with ACEN RES, we are enabling businesses to cut emissions by integrating renewable supply with EV charging.”

ACEN shares on Monday dropped P0.19 to close at P3.26 per share.
