The Acer Predator Triton 14 AI is the latest laptop to join the gaming portfolio, as a 1.6 kg, 11mm thin laptop built with an aluminum chassis and equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 9 288V processor (8-core, 4P+4LPE) and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU at 110W TGP, along with 32GB of on-package LPDDR5X memory and 2TB of SSD storage. For display, it features a Calman-verified 14-inch OLED touch panel with a 2880 x 1800 resolution, 100% DCI-P3 color coverage, and 120Hz refresh rate.

Acer has pivoted to haptic-based touchpad for this laptop, which also comes with stylus support (the laptop comes bundled with one upon purchase). The entire deck surface is covered under the Corning Gorilla Glass, with the LED stripes on both sides marking the designated touch area for both the finger and the pen. Cooling is handled by graphene-based thermal material claimed to improve thermal efficiency by 14.5%, alongside dual 6th-generation AeroBlade 3D metal fans and the Vortex Flow system, which increases airflow compared to plastic-based fan designs.

The Predator Orion 3000 (PO3-665) desktop, meanwhile, features a 28-liter chassis with tempered glass panels and mesh ventilation, although the airflow comes down to one intake fan behind the Predator insignia and the exhaust fan on the usual spot. It can be configured with an Intel Core i7-14700F or i5-14400F processor and a single-fan NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 GPU, supports up to 32GB DDR4 RAM, and storage options include up to a 2TB SSD and a 2TB HDD.

Acer also announced the Predator XB323QUP monitor, a 31.5-inch QHD monitor with 180Hz refresh rate and a response time of up to 0.5ms (gray-to-gray minimum). It supports AMD FreeSync technologies, a 99% sRGB colour gamut, and HDR10, positioning itself as a budget-focused offering from the Predator’s gaming monitor lineup. Rounding up the launch is the Acer Connect M6E 5G mobile router, which supports physical SIM and eSIMs, featuring IP68 ingress protection, 8,000mAh battery rated for 28 hours, NFC touch-to-connect function, and Wi-Fi 6E (6GHz) support.

For pricing, the Predator Triton 14 AI costs RM12,999, while the Predator Orion 3000 includes RM4,999 and RM5,999 configurations. The Predator XB323UQP is priced at RM1,099, while the Connect M6E router costs RM999. All models are now immediately available for purchase nationwide.

Pokdepinion: Personally, I’m not the biggest fan of haptic touchpads, but having pen support is a fair tradeoff.
