Acer just gave its Aspire lineup a pretty interesting update, headlined by a laptop that renders 3D visuals without needing special glasses or even native 3D content.
The Aspire G 3D 16 is built around dual eye-tracking cameras that convert everyday photos, videos, games, and other 2D content into immersive 3D on the fly, all without relying on a discrete GPU to do the heavy lifting.
It comes preloaded with Acer’s SpatialLabs 3D Hub app for handling that conversion and viewing experience, and in supported games, the added depth genuinely helps separate foreground and background elements for a more dimensional feel.
Under the hood, it’s powered by AMD’s Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor with up to 126 overall TOPS and Radeon 8060S graphics, backed by up to a hefty 128GB of LPDDR5x memory and up to 2TB of SSD storage.The 16-inch display runs at WQXGA+ resolution (dropping to 1920 x 2400 when in 3D mode) with a 120Hz refresh rate and full DCI-P3 color coverage, and a large 99.9Wh battery keeps things running for longer sessions.
Acer rounded out the design with a fingerprint sensor on the power button, a precision touchpad, and an RGB-backlit keyboard complete with red WASD keys for gamers, all wrapped in a meteorite gray metal chassis.
On the more practical side, Acer also refreshed its Aspire S series all-in-ones, the 27-inch Aspire S 27 and 23.8-inch Aspire S 24, both aimed at being an easy, stylish computer for the whole family. They’re now powered by up to an Intel Core 7 processor and, for the first time, offer an optional touchscreen with stylus support.
The S 27 gives you a choice between a QHD panel at 120Hz or an FHD panel at 144Hz, while the S 24 sticks with the FHD, 144Hz option. Both keep the clean, minimalist white design from before, with narrow bezels and a 90% screen-to-body ratio.
Rounding things out, you get up to 16GB of memory, up to 1TB of SSD storage, an FHD webcam with a privacy shutter, and Wi-Fi 6E for reliable everyday connectivity.
