Kota Kinabalu: Students at a Mission school in Labuan are protesting the sudden transfer of a senior teacher, following a dispute over the placing of crucifixes in the secondary school.
Spokesperson Avanus Sunduvan said besides the students, teachers from other schools and the public are also expected to make similar petitions against the transfer of the long-serving teacher who was serving as Acting Principal.
“The teacher received the transfer notice without any reason and which amounted to an abuse of power.
