Singaporean actress Apple Chan recently took to social media to share some exciting news - she said yes to her boyfriend's proposal. Turning 35 on March 12, Chan expressed her gratitude for the new chapter in her life with a heartfelt post on March 13.

In her post, Chan shared a series of photos, capturing moments of joy and love with her fiancé, whose identity she chose to keep private for now. The first photo featured the actress proudly flaunting her engagement ring while warmly embracing her beloved. In another photo, the couple was spotted hand in hand on a yacht, with the romantic backdrop of the words "Marry me."

Having been born in Hong Kong and raised in Singapore, Chan has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry, particularly through her roles in director Jack Neo's films such as Ah Girls Go Army (2022) and Ah Boys To Men 4 (2017).

In an interview with Hong Kong's Oriental Daily News, Chan revealed that despite their relatively short time together, she and her fiancé share many common interests and values. Their discussions about marriage began early in their relationship, and Chan was deeply touched when he proposed to her on the yacht, a moment that brought her to tears.

Looking ahead, Chan shared that they plan to have wedding ceremonies in both Singapore and Hong Kong in 2025. She explained, "My boyfriend is a Singaporean, but my grandmother and aunt are in Hong Kong. My grandmother is getting old, and it is not convenient for her to fly to Singapore, so we will hold wedding banquets on both sides."

Prior to her current relationship, Chan was in a long-term relationship with Hong Kong actor Owen Cheung, whom she dated for about five years. The couple announced their split on social media in April 2018, paving the way for Chan to find love once again.

With her engagement, Chan embarks on a new journey filled with love and commitment, surrounded by the support of her loved ones in both Singapore and Hong Kong.
