Celebrity and socialite, Noor Neelofa (34) expressed concern over the child’s safety as she found out the desired place to send her eldest son, Muhammad Bilal to preschool did not allow parents to access the CCTV footage to monitor their children.
“Next week, Bilal will start his preschool, and I asked if parents can access the CCTV at the preschool since my friend shared that in her child’s school, parents can access the CCTV anytime.
Unfortunately, the place I plan to send him to does not allow it.” - Neelofa, via Instagram Story.
Upon further observation, there were various reactions given by readers and fans.
Some said that she should perhaps not say anything as she is privileged and should not be causing a stir on this issue, and that this is the way it’s been all along, others said that she was purposely uploading the story on Instagram to cause publicity suggesting that the actress’ controversial past and family history could be the reason for it…
A few also suggested that perhaps she should consider sending the son to the same place as her friend’s kid, or if she’s really that concerned, maybe she should opt for homeschooling.
And while there are many negative feedbacks given, this particular issue is actually no joke to begin with.
Considering that nowadays with a lot of cases accumulating around gangsterism, bullying, and even abuse from teachers, CCTVs should definitely be compulsory at school.
As parents, the last thing you want your kids to go through is abuse, after all, the kids are sent to school to be taught, not to be ill-treated, and certainly not by the teachers.
On another note, the perks of having a CCTV that is accessible by parents/guardians is quite beneficial, as some parents might have doubts or concerns as to what the kids are doing, or how they’re behaving while on the premises.
When the school ends, CCTV could be very useful in case of unfortunate agendas such as incidents, kidnapping, physical abuse, and sexual harassment.
Neelofa who got married to Muhammad Haris in 2021, started her career as a model in 2009 by taking part in a local pageant, Dewi Remaja and hit stardom in the entertainment field as an actress and TV host, she soon ventured into entrepreneurship, launching her own successful business, Naelofar ranging from hijab, clothing, and cosmetic line. Until she took a step back to focus on managing her company and marriage in 2021 the actress is now more comfortable living a private and discreet life, but still doesn’t shun away from updating her fans on her world every now and then by sharing a glimpse of her glamorous yet sophisticated million dollar lifestyle.
