Kota Kinabalu: The Federation of Chinese Associations Sabah (FCAS) urged the Government to pay serious attention to the spiralling pork price in Sabah and to take necessary and effective measures to address it.
This includes providing incentives to the live pig producers, besides fixing ceiling retail prices for pork.
FCAS President Tan Sri T.C. Goh (pic) said with Malaysia currently besieged by growing inflation, the retail price of pork in Sabah has increased multiple times in the past few months.
