Tenom: The Government needs to give due attention to the issues of floods and imperfect basic facilities affecting the people in the Tenom parliamentary constituency, says Tenom Member of Parliament Riduan Rubin.
He said the floods that hit many villages along Sungai Padas every year were a heavy burden on the residents.
“In addition to damaging their property, the floods also destroy agricultural produce and hamper production, causing residents to suffer huge losses every time the river overflows,” he said.
