Tenom: Integrity, discipline, professionalism and a strong commitment to duty are essential qualities for security personnel in carrying out their responsibilities effectively, said Sabah Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Chief Datuk Azmi Abdul Rahim.
He said police personnel must consistently uphold good values and perform their duties with dedication to ensure the best possible service delivery to the public.
Azmi made the remarks while delivering his address during an official working visit to the Tenom District Police Headquarters (IPD), here.
He also called on all members of the force to continue improving their performance and maintain excellence in order to strengthen public confidence in the police force.
During the session, Azmi shared his experiences throughout his career in the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) and encouraged officers to remain committed to their responsibilities.
Earlier, he was welcomed by Tenom District Police Chief Supt Azmir Abd Razak, Deputy District Police Chief DSP Samsualan Samsudin, division heads, senior officers and personnel of IPD Tenom.
About 50 personnel attended the programme, which also featured a traditional welcoming dance and a “Kunjung Tiba” cultural presentation.
