Kota Kinabalu: Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) members who will retire from service are advised to be more competitive in building a successful second career to support their livelihoods and contribute to socioeconomic development.
Chairman of Ex-Servicemen Affairs Corporation (Perhebat) Captain Mohd Radzi Mohd Ali urged them not to remain in the background upon completing service.
“They should instead play a more proactive role in developing their second careers because competition is quite stiff,” said Mohd Radzi, who was also former Royal Malaysia Airforce (RMAF) serviceman.
