It was a difficult time for everyone, but the joy during this final visit was plain to see.

Saying goodbye to a beloved pet is always one of the hardest moments in a pet owner's life. Sadly, it is something we all must face, and we have to do our best to support our four-legged companions through it.

On TikTok, a woman in the US who was devastated by her Dobermann's diagnosis decided to give her beloved dog one last special day.

A devastating diagnosis

Recently, the Dobermann was diagnosed with heart disease and terminal cancer. It was an incredibly tough diagnosis for her owner, who decided to do everything she could to give her dog some wonderful moments, especially in her favourite place: the dog park.

The visit was filmed and shared on TikTok, where you can really see the joy of Sophie, the dog. Sadly, there was no one else at the park to play with her that day. But her owner was determined to find her a friend to share one last playtime with.

A farewell full of love

Shortly after this video at the park, Sophie sadly had to be put to sleep as she was in too much pain and losing her strength day by day. The other family pets made sure to say a gentle goodbye, as did her owners.

Although the whole family was heartbroken to say goodbye, they did everything they could to give her the most beautiful final moments possible.
