Kota Kinabalu: The Persatuan Angkatan Gabungan Rakyat Asli Sabah (Agaras) is concerned by the extraordinary increase in new voters in Sabah, especially in the Kudat parliamentary constituency.
Its President Michael Frederick said the latest data from the Election Commission (SPR) showed a total of 23,258 new voters in the Kudat seat, of which 16,000 were Indian voters.
He said the percentage increase of voters was too high, even with the existence of new young voters aged 18 and above, adding that many Kudat residents were perplexed and upset by the situation.
