Italian football transfer intermediary Fabrizio Ferrari has admitted to AC Milan trying to sign a Premier League star.
The Serie A giants were linked to Newcastle United star Allan Saint-Maximin on loan.
While the forward denied such claims recently, Ferrari has admitted Milan did attempt to secure the French winger.
He told DAZN: "We held talks (with Milan), but there was never a real chance to sell the player.
"I think the club like the player, but we didn't go forward because Milan had other priorities."
