Yes. Although Kim is officially declared dead, he survives the events of the finale.
After rescuing Captain Ri and defeating Joo Gang-chan’s organisation, the South Korean authorities fake Kim’s death to erase the identity of Agent 66 permanently. The decision allows him to disappear from public records and protects both him and Min-ji from enemies linked to his past.
Later in the Korean drama, Kim reunited with his daughter. The duo then receive new identities and move to a new town, where they begin a peaceful life together away from the world of espionage.

The finale brings justice to the series’ main antagonists while leaving a few threads open for the future.
After Kim and his allies foil Joo Gang-chan’s final hostage plot, Gang-chan survives but is later stabbed by Gold Tooth. Kim also asks underworld leader Cho Pyeong-gyeon to dismantle Gang-chan’s company, triggering a corruption investigation that exposes illegal dealings involving politicians and prosecutors. Mole Cricket and his team arrest those implicated, while Captain Ri is ultimately handed over to Agent 66’s brother and returned to North Korea.
The final scene of the action series shows Kim attending a job interview at Baekho Manpower, where he meets Lee Do-gyu and prepares for a sparring match. Since the business organisation Baekho plays a major role in the original Manager Kim webtoon, the scene serves as a possible bridge to another story.
