The agent of Inaki Williams has called into live TV to defend the Athletic Bilbao striker.
Getafe coach Jose Bordalas accused Williams of insulting him before he was sent off late into last night's 2-2 draw.
On El Chiringuito, they were discussing the incident before Williams' agent Felix Tainta called into host Josep Pedrerol.
"You talk a lot without knowing. And I don't like these things," said Tainta.
"Iaki Williams gives me his version... And those around Bordals say one thing and I say the other. Iaki at no time covers his mouth and reproaches the coach for what he has done. We are defending what is legal or what is not.
"Is it legal... If one of your players goes three metres out of the field and you send him back in, is it legal? I don't know. It's cheating and it's unsportsmanlike. Let's start there. And I know Bordals.
"I am not going to tolerate them tarnishing the name of Iaki Williams, a boy who is respectful of everyone... and who has become heated because of these things."
Tainta also said: "Bordals lies blatantly. He knows he lies. Because he will want to wash his image and divert attention... Iaki did not cover his mouth. Today everyone covers it, but Iaki does not. Who is he to tell Iaki should shut up and play? What Bordals has to do is be in his technical area and not get on the field.
"We can all reproach each other for things, but Iaki Williams is a footballer and an exemplary person, something that we should look at in Bordals. He has been sent off a thousand times.
"I am not going to tolerate it being said that Iaki Williams has said 'son of a...'. It is a lie! Iaki has not insulted anyone."
