The agent of Liverpool Montevideo midfielder Fabricio Diaz has met with Barcelona directors.
Sport says Diaz's agent, Martin Rodriguez Nader, was at Bara's headquarters on Tuesday morning to discuss his client.
Barca are keen on the midfielder, who carries a price-tag of 6m.
The 20 year-old is regarded among the brightest young midfield talents in South America.
Barca are interested, though Diaz's camp currently favour staying with Liverpool for another season to maintain his development.
