Senegalese prospect Pape Diop could be heading to the Premier League in the future.
The 19-year-old, who plays for Belgian club Zulte Waregem, is likely available for transfer.
His agent, Gerald Sagoe, has admitted that clubs such as Liverpool have been tracking his client's progress.
Sagoe told Tutto Mercato: "Yes, towards the end of last season while he was busy with the national team, we were contacted by Liverpool and we had preliminary meetings in Paris.
"Three French teams have expressed interest and some Italian teams, including Napoli, have expressed interest. Together with my lawyer, Alessandro Mazzucato, we will have some appointments in Germany in the next few weeks. Let's see what happens.
"We are looking for the right project to encourage the growth of the player, as every young prospect needs to play, therefore any offers for us must be accompanied by a growth project from Pape. He has made very important progress but let's remember that he is still only 19 years."
