Russian agent Alexei Safonov has questioned Chelsea splashing out €100m on Mykhaylo Mudryk.
Safonov says Chelsea manager Graham Potter will struggle to bring out the best in the signing from Shakhtar Donetsk.
He told RT: "At Arsenal, they heard the requirements of Shakhtar, twisted at the temple and left the negotiations.
"Chelsea takes everything that moves! Roman Abramovich also spent a lot, but then there was a result. The Russian immediately took a top manager, because he put the development of the project at the forefront.
"Here, people compete in how much money they can burn..."
