Agong arrives at Shah Alam plane crash site where 10 died

SHAH ALAM: The Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah has arrived at the site of the plane crash that killed 10 people near Elmina, Shah Alam.

Upon arriving at the site, Sultan Abdullah was briefed on the latest situation by Selangor police chief Hussein Omar Khan.

Sultan Abdullah was also seen consoling distraught family members of those who died in the crash.

Earlier, Hussein confirmed that 10 people were killed in the incident which included two motorists that the Beechcraft Model 390 aircraft crashed into on the Guthrie Highway.

He also called on the public to refrain from sharing images of the crash and avoid speculating on the incident out of respect for the victims’ families.

The light aircraft was travelling from the Langkawi International Airport to Subang Airport before it crashed around 2.50pm.

The deceased included eight people who were on board the aircraft, as well as the driver of a car and a motorcyclist that were hit by the crashing plane.
