
Kota Kinabalu: Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Abdullah Ahmad Shah graced the official opening of the Sabah Syariah Court Complex in Likas, here, today.
Greeting His Majesty at the complex were Head of State Tun Juhar Mahiruddin, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Sri Fadillah Yusof, Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs) Senator Dato’ Dr Mohd Na’im Mokhtar, Finance Minister Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun, Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk Ariffin Arif and State Secretary Datuk Seri Safar Untong.
After delivering his address, Sultan Abdullah, accompanied by Juhar, Hajiji and Mohd Na’im, signed a plaque symbolising the opening of the complex.
Later, the King toured the Syariah Appeal Court chamber before signing the guest book.
