Kota Kinabalu: The Malaysia-China Friendship Association Sabah shared Chinese culture with 300 Kian Kok Middle School students during the closing ceremony of the Chinese Cultural Wonderland Camp 2024 – Sabah, Malaysia.

Deputy Sabah Assembly Speaker Datuk Richard Yong said the cultural event aimed not only to showcase Chinese heritage but also highlight the importance of cultural exchanges and preservation.

“The roots of Chinese culture run deep in the long river of history and have flourished across the globe. We have a responsibility and obligation to ensure this cultural treasure is passed down through generations,” he said, as this year marks the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Malaysia and China, symbolising the stable development of bilateral ties.

He said the recent visit to China by the Agong further strengthened diplomatic relations between the two nations. Support Independant Journalism Subscribe to Daily Express Malaysia 1-Year: Premium PlanRM180.00 / yearSubscribe Already a subscriber? Unlock this Article, Sign In Here
