AN ARTIFICIAL intelligence-driven wealth technology firm has acquired a Chicago-based analytics company ahead of its planned entry into the Philippine financial technology sector this year.
BridgeWise said it acquired Context Analytics, an AI-driven alternative data processing firm, in a move aimed at strengthening its capabilities as it prepares to serve Philippine financial institutions and wealth advisers.
Context Analytics specializes in processing unstructured financial data, including news reports, corporate disclosures and social media content, converting them into machine-readable formats for analysis. It counts tier-one financial firms among its users, including S&P Global Market Intelligence.
BridgeWise said the acquisition will allow it to combine its asset analysis tools with quantifiable social media sentiment data, providing explainable and regulatory-compliant investment intelligence for banks, brokerages, fintech platforms and retail investors in the Philippines.
“Our vision has always been to provide the most robust financial intelligence on the planet,” said Gaby Diamant, chief executive officer of BridgeWise. “By joining forces with Context Analytics, we have created an end-to-end powerhouse for the global financial ecosystem that can respond to the needs of the Filipino institutional and individual investor.”
BridgeWise said it provides investment intelligence to more than 50 institutional clients and 25 million end users in more than 20 languages. It partners with global institutions such as Japan Exchange Group, SIX, B3, eToro, TASE and Rakuten Securities and operates offices in Japan, Singapore, the United States, London, Brazil, Thailand, Israel and Dubai.
The company said the integration of Context Analytics’ technology will support the rollout of its AI wealth agent, pAI, which builds and reviews portfolios in a personalized and conversational format.
The firm said the acquisition positions it to offer a consolidated infrastructure designed to deliver a comprehensive market view to financial institutions as it expands into the Philippine market.
