MANIS chairman Muhd Danial Amsyar Arfi expressed appreciation to the Prime Minister for the contribution, saying it reflected concern for media practitioners in the state.

SEREMBAN: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today donated a sacrificial cow to media practitioners in Negeri Sembilan to enable them to perform the korban ritual in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidiladha.

The contribution also gave media practitioners in the state the opportunity to take part in a korban programme for the first time, organised by the Negeri Sembilan Media Club (MANIS) in collaboration with the Taman Bandar Senawang Kariah Mosque here.

MANIS chairman Muhd Danial Amsyar Arfi expressed appreciation to the Prime Minister for the contribution, saying it reflected concern for media practitioners in the state.

“This korban programme also serves as a platform to bring media practitioners closer to the community through social and religious activities. Part of the meat will be distributed to those in need, while the remainder will be given to MANIS members.

“MANIS hopes programmes such as this can continue in the future as part of social responsibility efforts and to assist the underprivileged, while also strengthening ties between the media and the community,” he said in a statement here today.

Taman Bandar Senawang Kariah Mosque chairman Hosnan Selamat said 15 cows, including MANIS’ contribution, were sacrificed at the mosque in conjunction with Aidiladha.
