AirAsia sets one-way fixed fare for CNY travel from peninsula to S’wak, Sabah

KUALA LUMPUR – Budget carrier AirAsia has set a one-way fixed fare for those travelling from the peninsula to Sarawak (RM199) and Sabah (RM249) between January 13 and 30.

The deals are in conjunction with Chinese New Year and was hailed by Transport Minister Anthony Loke as a “very personal initiative” as it was part of his election manifesto.

The RM199 deal applies to those leaving Kuala Lumpur or Johor Baru for Kuching, Bintulu, Miri or Sibu in Sarawak, reported Malay Mail Online.

While the RM249 offer is for those leaving Kuala Lumpur or Johor Baru for Kota Kinabalu or Tawau in Sabah. – The Vibes, December 28, 2022
