TAWAU: The government is urged to deal with the issue of expensive air ticket fares to ensure the welfare of the people of Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan is protected.
Member of Parliament for Tawau, Lo Su Fui, said the mechanism should be used long-term and not temporary.
“We know many students from Tawau who study in the peninsula and have to pay for expensive air tickets to return home, he said.
