
Kota Kinabalu: Airfares between Sabah and other states have drastically risen, according to an official.
Sabah Tourism Board deputy chairman Datuk Dr Jelani Hamdan said the price hikes have been significant lately especially during the school holidays.
The airfares reached as high as RM1,300 compared to RM500 previously.
"This has to be thought over as clearly it doesn't promote national integration and Sabah's tourism," he said in a statement today.
