Ajax have delivered an update on the condition of former chief executive Edwin van der Sar.
Former Manchester United, Fulham and Juventus goalkeeper Van der Sar is in intensive care in Croatia after suffering a bleed on the brain.
Ajax announced: "Edwin van der Sar will remain in intensive care for the time being.
"His condition is stable but still worrying. Ajax are sharing this information on behalf of Annemarie van der Sar, Edwin's wife.
"The Van der Sar family, together with Ajax is grateful and deeply touched by the many messages of support."
