Ajax have fired sporting director Sven Mislintat.
The former Arsenal chief scout only moved to Amsterdam this past summer from VfB Stuttgart.
But with Ajax struggling, the German has been axed on the day the club had their clash with champions Feyenoord abandoned due to crowd trouble.
Ajax announced: "Ajax has ended the collaboration with Director of Football Sven Mislintat with immediate effect.
"The lack of broad support within the organisation is the reason behind this decision."
Ajax went into the Feyenoord winless in four games this season.
It's claimed Mislintat discussed firing coach Maurice Steijn with the players on Saturday, before he was axed himself.
