That's according to Dutch reporter Mike Verweij.
Salah-Eddine could be on the move from Ajax this summer, with interest arriving from across Europe.
Verweij posted to social media: "Anass Salah-Eddine (20) at Ajax put to the test. Left back in talks with club since April, but proposal and counterproposal are far apart.
"The current contract expires in mid-2023. Club Brugge, Feyenoord, Everton and FC Twente interested in Amsterdammer."
