Manchester City central defender Nathan Ake admits he is happy to have stayed at the club.
The Dutchman was being linked with a move away, possibly to Chelsea, as he sought regular game time.
However, he stuck with his decision to be at City, and has been rewarded with more game time so far this term.
He told reporters in a press conference: “In the end I'm happy to be here.
Sometimes these things happen [transfer links and rumours] and in the end
“I'm very happy that I stayed."
