Al-Ettifaq coach Steven Gerrard is seeking a reunion with former Liverpool teammate Roberto Firmino.
Gerrard is in the market for a new centre-forward signing next month and believes Firmino can be prised away from Al-Ahly, says the Daily Express.
The Brazil international, 32, joined Al-Ahly last summer, but after a bright start has hit a form slump.
Firmino has scored three goals in 15 games so far this Saudi Pro League season.
The veteran could move to Al-Ettifaq on-loan next month.
