Al-Hilal goalkeeper Bono admits he had major offers to remain in Europe this season.
The Morocco international left Sevilla in the summer for the Saudi Pro League.
Bono told Foot Mercato: "As for Paris, Real Madrid or Bayern Munich, yes: there were contacts with these three teams during the transfer market. What I can say is that I was one of the options for these clubs.
"But in football it doesn't just depend on yourself. There are many factors to take into account for something to happen or not. I am lucky today to be in a club like Al-Hilal, where I am happy and for which, above all, I was the main option.
For now, my goal is to succeed with Al-Hilal. I want to try to win everything, mark an era and leave a mark on this championship, on this Continent. Especially because it is a league that is growing. The level is getting higher and higher. For my part, I hope to continue contributing to it."
