Former Wolves boss Julen Lopetegui is resisting interest from Al-Ittihad.
Lopetegui is the Saudis' top target after sacking Nuno this week.
The Spaniard is available after leaving Wolves before the start of the season in August.
However, O Jogo says Lopetegui is turning down Al-Ittihad as he has ambitions of finding a new job in the Premier League.
However, Al-Ittihad will keep pushing to convince Lopetegui as negotiations remain open.
