Real Madrid defender David Alaba says the players are behind Fede Valverde.
The Real midfielder is under police investigation after allegedly punching Villarreal's Alex Baena in the Santiago Bernabeu carpark after defeat on Saturday. It's been claimed Valverde attacked Baena over his unborn child - which the Villarreal man denies.
Alaba said today: "He has everyone's support, he is focused on tomorrow's game but I can't say anything more about this story."
Meanwhile, on Champions League opponents Chelsea, Alaba said: "We have to push up from the first minute. They are a great team and we will have to be very focused throughout the game.
"They still have a great squad. The key for us is to believe in ourselves and have a lot of confidence as I said before."
