David Alaba has apologised to Real Madrid fans for his derby performance on Sunday.
The Austria defender featured as Real were beaten 3-1 by Atletico Madrid at the Metropolitano.
Alaba was involved in all three goals scored by the hosts.
He posted today to social media: "Madridistas we all expect more! This was not our game, this was not my game!
"We let you down yesterday but we will fight back and we will come back to what Real Madrid is!"
