Alex Baena has signed a new deal with Villarreal.
The midfielder has penned terms to 2028, with his contract now carrying a 60m buyout clause. His previous deal was to run to 2025.
Baena, who has been with Villarreal since he was 11 years of age, has been outstanding for the Yellow Submarine this season.
In 26 games so far, Baena has scored ten goals and produced four assists.
