Alex Collado is to sign a new deal with Barcelona.
The midfielder, who was talked out of retiring by Barca president Joan Laporta last summer, will sign a new deal to 2024.
Collado spent the second-half of last season on-loan with Granada after not being registered to either the senior or Barca Atletic teams.
Barca coach Xavi is counting on him this season.
While he has played primarily as a winger, Xavi sees Collado as a midfielder.
