Alexis Mac Allister’s contract situation at Liverpool has drawn fresh attention after his father and agent addressed reports about a potential renewal.
Speculation around new deals at Anfield increased after Liverpool confirmed a contract extension for Ryan Gravenberch on Saturday.
Reports also suggested the club had begun discussions with the representatives of both Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai as part of plans to secure key midfield players for the long term.

Carlos Mac Allister, who also acts as the midfielder’s agent, has now responded to the reports about ongoing talks.
Speaking to journalist Ismael Mahmoud, he dismissed claims that negotiations with Liverpool are currently underway.
“There are no negotiations with Liverpool for renewal of the contract in that stage,” he said according to Winwin.
The No.10’s contract is valid until 2028. Since he arrived at Anfield in 2023, he has become a key player, but has never got a renewal.
