Alexis Martial is proud to be a cousin of Manchester United attacker Anthony Martial.
The 21 year-old defensive midfielder is a free agent after coming through at Lyon and also playing for Servette in Switzerland.
Alexis told Foot Mercato: "It's a source of pride to bear this name, it's my father's name, it's a source of pride!
"Afterwards with Anthony, it is true that he is my cousin and he is my example in football as I have already said.
"This name, I wear it proudly, head raised and I hope one day to be able to represent the Martial name as much as Anthony currently does on the international scene!"
